The Boys & Girls Club of Metro North is looking for local community members to volunteer their time and skill in the fields of Marketing, Human Resources and IT. The non-profit organization is hoping to find a professional in each field to give 5-10 hours of their time per week to help on the administrative side of the child care organization.
At the heart of the organization is the hope to serve as many youth as possible. Recently the club changed its name from “Boy & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield” to “Boys & Girls Club of Metro North” to allow for expansion into surrounding communities. These expansion plans call for some extra support in building the administration of the clubs.
Chief Executive Officer John Shagoury said, “We’re looking for a small group of dedicated volunteers who can help us build the administration of these clubs. And by doing that help us make sure we serve more young people every single year.”
